Well, I would like to share something about charging your battery to prolong the service life of the battery, cause it is not cheap. Let us find out together.

How to Charge your battery scientifically?

Step by Step

  1. Put the charger into the wall before the scooter's charging port

In general, plug the charger into the wall first and then into the scooter. Doing so will effectively protect the charger and its output capacitor.

If you find the charger gets hot during the charging, don't worry, it is normal.

Note:

The charger needs to be placed on a non-flammable surface and kept ventilated, which means no objects cover your charger.

    2. Connect the charger plug to the charging port of the scooter

Before connection, you need to turn off the power of the electric scooter in advance and then remove the protective cover of the charging port.
Check if there is dust on the port and connector, if there is, you could blow off the dust gently.
Check the direction of the charger and connect it correctly to avoid a short circuit.
Finally, plug the charger into the port on the electric scooter.

    3. Charing time

Wait for the indicator light on the charger to turn green, indicating that it is fully charged, at which point you need to disconnect in time.
Most chargers are green to indicate a full charge, if there is a difference you can refer to your scooter's manual.
Charging time can refer to the recommended charging time on top of the manual to roughly estimate your electric scooter charging time in time.

Tip:
Operating your battery between 30% and 80% of the full charge will greatly increase your battery life.

    4. Disconnect the scooter after fully charged

When you find the charger turns green, then it is time for you to disconnect the power in time.
First, we disconnect the scooter from the charger and then unplug the charger from the wall outlet.

Regarding the charging frequency, just charge your e-scooter as often as necessary.
It is recommended to charge the electric scooter every time after the ride.
